Reginald R. (Bob) Prout returned to Commerce National Bank as its Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in July, 2008. He was the organizing Chief Financial Officer of Commerce National Bank while it was being opened in 2003. He left the Bank from 2006 to 2008 to serve as the founding Chief Financial Officer of 1st Enterprise Bank in downtown Los Angeles during its organizational and start-up periods. Prior to joining our Bank in 2003, Mr. Prout held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Verdugo Banking Company in Glendale from 1998 until the sale of that bank to First Community Bancorp in 2003; at Sterling Bank in Los Angeles from 1995 until the sale of that bank to The Pacific Bank in 1998; and at Columbia National Bank in Santa Monica from its inception in 1982 until 1990. He held the positions of Cashier and Chief Administrative Officer at Sterling Bank in Los Angeles from 1990 to 1995. Mr. Prout began his banking career in 1969 with Security Pacific National Bank in Los Angeles. Mr. Prout is a member of the Bank's Asset / Liability Management, Risk Management and Information Technology Steering Committees.
