Mr. Simmons joined Marine National Bank in 1986 as an Executive Vice President and Director. He was promoted to the position of President and Chief Executive Officer in late 1987, a position he retained until the purchase of the bank by First Security Bank in December 1998. During his term as President, the bank grew from $60 million in assets and $6 million in capital to $264 million in assets and $32 million in capital.
